Mary and Brian: A Kentucky Derby Wedding…part 1

Ok, put on your seersucker suits, big hats, and bring out the red roses and join me for Mary and Brian’s wedding. I’ve been just dying to post this wedding. You simply must read this post to hear their story. So…here we go. Originally, Mary contacted me to photograph what was going to be her engagement party. She told me it was going to be a big party AND it was going to be the same day as the Kentucky Derby. Me, not knowing anything about the derby was like, “ok, cool”. So fast forward to receiving an email from Mary that they decided to turn their engagement party into a surprise wedding. At this point I had already met the lovely couple for their engagement session so I knew they could throw a party with class so I was beyond thrilled to learn it would now be a wedding and yours truly was in on the secret. holla! So, when I pulled up to Fair Springs Stable in Summerville, SC I was blown away at how beautiful this place was. I was even more blown away with the guests and how spirited they were for the event. They showed up in true southern style and class. I was in photographer’s heaven. I really don’t need to explain it anymore. Just look below…stay tuned for more.
