Katie and Ben: e-session in Charleston, SC
September 2nd, 2010
You really can’t beat Charleston for any kind of photography. So when Katie told me that’s where they wanted their session, I was more than happy. Our little family decided we’d take a little vacation to Charleston this past July so everything lined up perfectly. The only thing we had to deal with was the heat. And oh gracious was it hot for this shoot. You’d never know from this lovely couple that we’re all sweating like crazy. I, personally looked like I had been swimming. Anyway, these two were aaaadorable and I’m totally digging Katie’s little yellow dress…so in right now.
On a personal note, Katie and Ben brought along their little golden puppy. Sniff sniff…my Kenah (also a golden) passed away from cancer back in May. I actually haven’t blogged about it. It’s been too hard to share and honestly I felt that if I did a whole post on her and how great she was it just wouldn’t be enough. Not to mention that I just emtionally couldn’t handle it. I got kenah in college as a puppy and she was an incredible dog and best friend. Much love to my pumpkin and all the other pumpkins out there.

Amy and Jason: e-session
August 17th, 2010
Amy and Jason’s shoot was almost the hottest July day of this summer. Katie and Andrew’s wedding only has them beat by a little bit. HA! Regardless, hopefully you can’t tell that we’re about to melt away. For me, the key to shooting in hot weather is definitely not to move much so I try to keep the shoot to relatively the same location. Me, plus the lovely couple try to pick a place with diverse scenery so we don’t have to move much. The Piedmont Club in Spartanburg and the church next door was a perfect fit. Of course bringing the puppy dog along for some shots always makes for great composition.
Thanks Amy and Jason. You guys were just delightful to shoot. Can’t wait for the wedding. cheers!

Megan and Seth: e-session
July 28th, 2010
I’m seriously giddy with excitment to share this post with you. Not only are Megan and Seth stinkin adorable, but their shoot was so much fun. Megan is a total DIY girl and she had this entire shoot styled to a T. I’m pretty sure my camera’s heart skipped a beat on this one. Oh I just can’t wait to show her bridals, but sadly I’ll have to wait until the fall. You know this wedding will be such a treat.
In case you were wondering…the session with the balloons was shot in my hood and the outside bedroom was shot in Megan’s parent’s backyard. too cool.
