Flying…
July 20th, 2010
Matt and I recently took a mini vacation to Del Ray Beach FL to visit some friends. We had originally planned to go to the U2 concert in Miami with our friends that weekend, but since Bono had emergency back surgery the tour was canceled. So, we’re holding our tickets for the new date. Anyway, here is my perspective on the Atlanta Airport. I snapped these in a matter of a couple minutes. We had just eaten and only had a few minutes before boarding. These are straight up out the camera. No editing.

Heather Rocks!
June 30th, 2010
When Erin emailed me and asked if I could photograph her bestfriend’s birthday party, I was completely flatter. I’ve become acquainted with Erin through some mutual friends and not only is she and her husband artists, but all her friends are as well. Not only that, but they actually make money in their craft. HA! So surrounded by all this talent, she still wanted me to do the event. Although I’m certain it’s because all these lovely artist friends would actually like to join the party…should I be so lucky?! Well, I must say the party was completely charming and perfect. Everyone was super nice to me and it made me want to be bffs with all of them. I love me some good girl time for sure.
Let’s not forget the birthday girl…Heather, who is oh so pregnant and beautiful. She was just glowing and I know she just can’t wait to give that little girl growing inside her some sweet kisses…such a miracle. Heather, you were a joy to photograph and you definitely ROCK!
Here are some shoutouts to some of the other artists that were present at the party…
Molly Greene, Annie Koelle, Erin Godbey, and Erin’s husband (not at the party, but you just have to see his work)

The Fowlers…and Friday
April 8th, 2010
April contacted me back in the fall of last year when I was pregnant and as huge as a house! Needless to say I was in no condition to do a shoot for her and her husband at the time. She was very patient with me and agreed to do it this spring. So a couple of weeks ago I trekked out to Clemson University to do their shoot. You never have to twist my arm to go to Clemson, I graduated from there and met my hubby there so my blood is orange!
April’s hubby is a dentist and they wanted to do a shoot that was professional and fun so they could use the images on a brochure and for the office. I am super flattered they picked me for this and it was so great to meet them. Thanks guys!
So I can’t end this post without mentioning Friday, the Fowler’s pup. They recently rescued her and she is just stinkin adorable. I’m a dog person myself, so Friday was in good company and boy did she strut her stuff. Love it!
