Ann Blair and Kemp
I heart Christmas weddings. There’s something so sentimental about them. How sweet it must be to have your anniversary and Christmas day right close to each other. That just means an extra excuse to do something cool together and get away from everyone. Well, at least that is what I would do. I do realize Christmas was totally 6 weeks ago, but in the world of wedding editing that is not very long.
This wedding was particularly bitter sweet for me and for a good reason. Ann Blair is the last of a rather large group of friends who have been getting married to one another over the last couple of years. I first met all of them at Meghan and David’s wedding down in Savannah. She so took a chance with me because I had only shot like 10 weddings at that point and I was so stinkin scared the whole time. I guess I hid it well because before I knew it, her friends were booking me and so the story goes. Who knows, maybe they have other friends that are still going to get hitched. So you see this wedding meant a lot to me and although I’m so very happy for Ann Blair and Kemp, I’m also sad about not getting to see everyone at the next wedding. Hopefully as they all have children, I’ll be able to see them once again.
Amy Clifton helped me out as a fabulous second shooter for they day. Please click over to her blog to see her images from the day. Thanks Amy! I hope to return the favor.
Much love to you all, Olivia
