So this is my last HORRAH before Amelia arrives. Matt and I are getting some much needed time together and with friends. We’re leaving today and won’t be back until August 2nd. I will have limited access to email so please be patient. For now, I leave you with this lovely image I took last year on vacation. Jealous?…

Julie and Joshua were married at the Acanthus. This was my first time shooting at this location and I loved it! The setup for the wedding party, ceremony, and reception flowed nicely together. Everything was right there and easy to get to and as a photographer, this is really important.
Julie’s bright colors really popped in the pics and made for some super yummy shots. Brides ask me a lot about colors and how they turn out in photographs. My advice is always the same…splashes of bright color is always best. If you go with a neutral toned bridesmaid’s dress then add at least a couple bright colors in the bouguets to make it pop.
