Well, what better way to introduce my new blog than to start with images from my brother’s wedding in New Orleans. :) This blog has been in the making for a while and I am so stoked about it. It’s exactly what I wanted. Aaron and Caleb of GreenePhotographs did a fabulous job. So if you are moved by my new blog, please show me some love in the comments. Have a said before that I love getting comments? Well, I do.
Now for the lovely couple. Before I start I want to give a shout out to Angelle Missios . She and her husband are good friends with Megan and JM and she is also a wedding photographer! She was kind enough to second shoot with me so that I could relax and enjoy my brother’s day. :) I am eternally grateful. To see more of this fab wedding, check out her site.
Honestly, weddings don’t get any more beautiful than this one. My younger brother is such a handsome groom and his bride is just stunning. John Mark moved to New Orleans for law school at Tulane after his undergrad at Clemson. I hated to see him go, but was glad he followed his dream. After becoming an attorney, I knew he would want someone to share his life with. He and I used to always have long phone chats into the morning about our hopes and dreams for marriage. We kept praying for each other to find that “someone”. I found mine while at clemson and married him in 2004. JM would take a little longer, but he met Megan at church a couple of years ago and they’ve been together ever since. She is absolutely wonderful and I couldn’t have picked a better mate. I’m so excited and thrilled to have a new sister in my life and another aunt for our baby that is on the way.
If you’ve read this far, I’m impressed and you also get rewarded with privledged information. The password for the private gallery will be available soon and I will send the info to JM and Megan. Love you both, Liv

My favorite shot of the day. I just love the hair in her face and the light. ahhhh

I love how happy my brother looks in the shot.

Here we have my adorable brother and my baby daddy. I love Matt’s smile in this pic. Next is my brother again and my very handsome dad.

Charlene-Anytime

I first met Charlene last Christmas at a Christmas Party I was photographing for a wedding planner I had met earlier that year. Shout out! - Ladies if you’re looking for a great wedding planner check out krystal Donald. Anyway, Charlene is a spoken word poet so I was thrilled when she contacted me to come hear her give a performance and take some rockin shots of her for her site. We also set up another time to meet to just do an “anytime” shoot for her so she could have some shots that show her personality and would suit her site. The “anytime” shots are something new I’m doing. Basically we get together for a half hour and go with it. :) It’s tons O fun and not too invasive to the client’s time and it’s usually a quick turnaround. Contact me if you’re interested.
Now for some shots from both of my visits with Charlene.
Liv
